We wanted to take a moment to thank you for trusting A Happy Host to care for your property. Our goal has always been to provide dependable, high-quality service with the same level of care and attention we’d give our own homes.
Effective October 15, 2025 a few necessary updates to our service structure will take effect. This is the first time we have adjusted our rates in over three years, and the decision was not made lightly. These updates are not driven by profit, but by our commitment to maintaining the quality, reliability, and responsiveness that our clients deserve.
Our new service rates are as follows:
• Standard service fee: $100
• Standard hourly rate: $75
• Weekend and after-hours service fee: $140
• Weekend and after-hours hourly rate: $115
In addition, all labor will now include a one-hour minimum, with time billed in 15-minute increments thereafter. This change allows us to maintain fair and consistent pricing for every visit, as the first hour accounts for technician travel, setup, cleanup, and administrative time related to scheduling, documentation, completing reports, follow-up, and billing.
Product purchases made through A Happy Host will now include a 50% convenience fee. This covers the time, coordination, and responsibility involved in sourcing, ordering, tracking, storing, and ensuring each item is correct, properly installed, and functioning as intended. It also allows us to handle warranty or replacement issues directly with suppliers, saving you time and reducing stress while ensuring the work is completed correctly from start to finish.
